EdgeStream does not disclose any information collected from visitors to our website
to other organizations for commercial purposes. Information that maybe collected
from visitors to our web site or those using our VDN may include IP address, domain
names and information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information and/or site
registrations. The information is kept strictly private and not shared with
any other organizations
for commercial purposes.
For customers who use our video streaming client
software, quality of service information may be
collected, such as your processor type, processor speed,
or network connection speed. The
information we collect is used for internal review and to improve the quality of video delivery. This information is
not shared with other organizations for commercial
purposes.
We do not partner with or
have special relationships with any ad server companies
at this time.
From time to time, we may use customer information
for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in
our privacy notice. If our information sharing practices change
in the future we will post the policy
changes to our Web site and you will
have the ability to opt out of these new
uses. If you are concerned about how your information is
used, you should check back at our Web site
periodically.
Customers may prevent their information from being
used for purposes other than those for which it was
originally collected by calling us or emailing us.
Illegal use
EdgeStream's VDN services may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, distribution
or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited.
This includes, without limitation, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade
secret or other intellectual property right used without proper authorization, and
material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates
export control laws.
Violations of our systems and network security are prohibited, and may result in
criminal and civil liability. EdgeStream will investigate incidents involving such
violations and may involve and will cooperate with law enforcement if a criminal
violation is suspected.
